Bungalow Dry Kitchen, Island Cabinet & Cinderella-Themed Bedroom

Kitchen Story Sdn. Bhd. completed this custom interior design and cabinetry project for a bungalow at Vista Hill Park, Taiping, Perak. The project focused on two key areas: a modern dry kitchen with island cabinet and a Cinderella-themed bedroom designed for the client’s grandchildren.

For the dry kitchen, our scope included interior design, custom dry kitchen cabinet, and island cabinet fabrication and installation. The kitchen was planned to create a bright, elegant, and practical space for daily use, light food preparation, serving, and family interaction. The island cabinet adds extra worktop space, storage, and casual seating, making the kitchen more functional and welcoming.

The cabinetry was built with white melamine carcass and finished with X-Slim spray-painted glass doors, giving the kitchen a clean and modern appearance. To improve usability and durability, we installed a BLUM drawer system and DTC soft-closing door hinges, allowing the cabinets to operate smoothly and quietly.

In addition to the kitchen area, we also designed and built a Cinderella-themed bedroom for the grandchildren. This space was customised with a bespoke Cinderella wall mural / wallpaper, together with a colour-themed wardrobe and dressing table to match the overall princess-inspired concept. The design was planned to create a cheerful, imaginative, and child-friendly environment while still maintaining practical storage and everyday usability.
